Devon Viehman and Jerry Bosch are both running for office. Viehman is a candidate for one of two seats on the Jackson Town Council, and Bosch is vying for one of four seats on the school board. Viehman works as a realtor and Bosch as an attorney. This is Viehman’s third time running for Town Council and Bosch’s first time running for local office. They both are raising teenagers.

They discuss the foundation of their political beliefs and the issues that are important to them.

Listen above to an excerpt of their conversation in KHOL’s podcast “Jackson Unpacked” or hear their full conversation here.

This conversation was recorded for KHOL’s One Small Step Program, a StoryCorps initiative that brings people with different beliefs into the recording studio to talk and discover their common ground. For election season, KHOL paired candidates running for local office with the constituents they aim to represent. These conversations cover the who and the why behind our political and religious beliefs and, in just an hour, seek to find some common ground.
