Chris Glenn and Krista Nethercott were both raised in conservative Christian families. Glen grew up in southern Ohio and Nethercott in Riverton and on Long Island, New York, where she spent a good part of each year living with her grandparents.
Glenn is a liberal who is running as an Independent for Teton County Sheriff on an anti-ICE platform. Nethercott is a longtime Jacksonite and funeral director at Grand Teton Funeral Home and Cremation. She says being adopted as a newborn helped shape her conservative politics.
