In a Landscape: Classical Music in the Wild

In it’s 11th season, In a Landscape: Classical Music in the Wild reimagines the classical music experience by taking performances out of concert halls and into natural settings, including mountaintops, old-growth forests, sunny meadows, high desert playas and coastal headlands. Classical pianist Hunter Noack will travel with a 9-foot Steinway Model D piano for 50 concerts this year. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.
About this Landscape:
Six Springs Ranch is a working ranch and the Teton Regional Land Trust’s first conservation easement property. The partnership between the landowner and the Land Trust protects sustainable agriculture while preserving wildlife habitat and open space in eastern Idaho. Grasslands and willow-lined creeks support raptors, moose and native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout.
This concert benefits Teton Regional Land Trust and its mission to conserve working farms and ranches, fish and wildlife habitat and scenic open landscapes.

Dinner at the Barn:
Following the performance we’ll gather in the barn at around 6:30 p.m. to continue the evening together. Set against the backdrop of a summer evening in Teton Valley, Dinner at the Barn is a chance to slow down, connect and enjoy time with friends and neighbors ($50).
