Public Affairs Officer Denise Germann from Grand Teton National Park joined us to talk about the festivities taking place for Founders Week in honor of the Centennial of the Park Service, starting Monday August 22nd. We also talked about the recent emergency rescues in the Tetons, the brain-eating parasite and e. coli that exists in geothermal waters in the Park, how they handle events like the teenage girl that went missing and was located earlier this month, and the current wildfire situation.
