Applications open for Silicon Couloir’s 15th annual Pitch Day

Applications for the region’s premier founder showcase close Friday, June 26.

Applications for Silicon Couloir’s 15th Annual Pitch Day close Friday, June 26. Founders building companies in Eastern Idaho or anywhere in Wyoming are encouraged to apply.

Invited applicants will make presentations to the selection committee in mid-June. Selected finalists then work through a summer-long series of five coaching sessions with seasoned business leaders, two of which are in person, designed to sharpen their pitch and their business plan ahead of the September event.

“Our Pitch Day program is one of the few opportunities in Wyoming where founders can spend the summer learning from successful entrepreneurs who have built brands and companies, and then take those learnings to the stage to present in front of a large audience,” says Rob Kellogg, Silicon Couloir’s Executive Director. “The coaching alone makes the experience worth it. And even years later, presenters regularly tell us how Pitch Day was a seminal event in their entrepreneurial journey.”

Companies must meet the following selection criteria to apply:
Stage: Developmental, pre-revenue or post-revenue
Funding: Companies may be actively raising equity, debt or other capital, but it’s not required to apply
Growth potential: Priority given to ventures with significant growth potential
Industry: Real estate development companies not eligible; tourism businesses considered case-by-case and must demonstrate innovative, growth-driven models
Geography: Operating or incorporated in Eastern Idaho or Wyoming
Values-based: Applicants must describe how their venture relates to Silicon Couloir’s guiding principle of Profit, People, Planet
Silicon Couloir Ecosystem: Prior participation in other Silicon Couloir programs is a value-add in selection

All applications are due by Friday, June 26. All applicants must contact Rebecca Reimers, Ecosystem Director, at Rebecca@SiliconCouloir.com for instructions on how to apply and program commitment for applicants and finalists.
