For the final installment of One Small Step, Len Carlman, a candidate for Teton County Commission, met Shannon Brennan, a candidate for the hospital board. Carlman, (age 63), is an attorney who moved to Jackson four decades ago first to work as a raft guide and later was the executive director of what is now the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance. He’s a resident of Wilson, one of the directors of Hungry Jack’s General Store, and the father of two adult children. Brennan (age 68) has lived in the region for four decades. Brennan studied hospital and public administration but most of her career has been in government and private contracting in energy resource management. One of her adult children just got married out of state, so she and Carlman met virtually.
