Nikki Sixx wants to get art ‘in front of faces’

The musician best known for heavy metal sees film as part of a broad artistic passion and a newfound Jackson community.

Rock legend and Jackson Hole resident Nikki Sixx is on the board of the Jackson Hole International Film Festival, which is presenting its third year of programming through this weekend. KHOL film critic Jeff Counts had a chance to chat with Sixx, who spent a significant portion of his childhood in Twin Falls, Pocatello and Jerome, Idaho, about his involvement in the festival, his breadth as an artist and his love for Wyoming.
