Book lovers of all ages can commune on Saturday at the inaugural Jackson Hole Book Festival at the Snow King Resort Hotel. About 250 people are expected for the free, all-day event, featuring talks from 30 authors, including some locals.

Event founders say it’s a chance for the community to hear from, meet and ask questions of some of the nation’s preeminent authors like New York Times bestselling author Xochitl Gonzalez and local Kevin Grange, author of Grizzly Confidential. Children’s author talks, plus a panel aimed at middle schoolers will take place throughout the morning.

Wyoming Representative Liz Storer, a Jackson Democrat, will moderate a discussion on “America’s Experiment in Democracy” featuring American commentator and journalist Ruth Marcus from the Washington Post, plus other authors.

KHOL is a sponsor of this event. A full schedule can be found at JacksonHoleBookFestival.org. You do not need to sign up to attend.
