‘Everything is Connected’: Music Director Jack Catlin Traces Music’s Lineage

KHOL's new music director is a longtime DJ exploring the common threads between iconic artists and the musicians they have inspired.

KHOL has a new music director. Longtime DJ Jack Catlin, a.k.a. KnewJack, recently took the reins of music direction at Jackson Hole Community Radio. Inspired by the opening DJ sets during a great night out, his show “The Heavy Warmup” will get you going for the day. Catlin’s philosophy is that everything is connected and his mixes reveal the common threads between iconic artists and the musicians they have directly and indirectly inspired. Tune in weekdays from 9 to 11 a.m. for classic cuts, obscure gems and new releases from the KHOL racks.  In the meantime, listen above for more on Catlin’s musical ethos, and hear some of his new music recommendations.
