Listen Along: KHOL Broadcasts Esperanza Rising, weekdays at 10 a.m.
In collaboration with the Teton County School District, KHOL presents Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan. Tune in each weekday at 10 a.m. to listen to fifth grade teacher Libby Crews-Wood read aloud 15-minute segments of this award-winning selection for young adult readers. This book is part of the curriculum for all fifth grade students in Teton County School District. The story is about a migrant family from Mexico navigating life as laborers on California farms during the Great Depression.
