Alone in the Mountains, Carly King Finds her Voice

The local musician discusses her love for the outdoors, connecting with her fans, and the inspiration she draws from the local community.

Singer-songwriter Carly King moved to Jackson from Colorado when she became enamored with the beauty of the Tetons. Her original lyrics contain natural imagery and feature a distinctive vocal tone. Released just over a month ago, King’s debut single “Mountains Alone” is five years in the making. Carly King joined us recently in the KHOL studio to discuss her influences, inspirations, and future album plans.
