A pilot program launched this summer called Rising Educators has been training and paying local Latino high schoolers to lead camps around Jackson Hole with organizations like Coombs Outdoors and the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum. The program also kicked off with place-based training by Grand Teton National Park and Teton Science Schools. KHOL Spanish-language reporter Alicia Unger recently spoke with three participants of the program about their experience.
