Dr. Chris “Pass The Biscuits” Bingman is a local, self-described “bluegrass maverick” with a popular radio show right here on KHOL. The Radio Roundup, which airs Thursdays from 6-8 p.m., is a curated selection of old-school country music, yodeling cowboys, solid country gold and western swing.

Originally from South Charleston, Ohio, Bingman plays the mandolin, guitar and most recently the banjo. He also has an album of original material called, “Biscuits & Bourbon,” and he has been a regular at the much revered Hootenanny in Moose as well as the Mangy Moose Saloon in Teton Village.

In advance of his upcoming gigs in Kentucky and Wisconsin, Dr. Chris “Pass The Biscuits” Bingman joined us recently in the KHOL studios to discuss his love for vintage country and bluegrass, the process behind his radio shows and how fun it is to just be yourself.
