Kira Brazinski grew up “a typical Jackson kid,” she says. That meant spending time in the mountains and staring admiringly at the Grand Teton. To climb the 13,776-foot peak is an extraordinary accomplishment for anyone. Brazinksi, however, did it with a prosthetic leg. She was born with a rare birth defect and is missing most of her left leg.
Her summit of the Grand Teton is the subject of the new film, “A Grand Journey.” Karissa Akin and Amon Parker of the local production outfit Apres Visuals produced and directed it.
