On Saturday, July 26, Wildwood presents The Travelin’ McCourys for a full evening of live music in Teton Valley.

Led by Ronnie McCoury on mandolin and Rob McCoury on banjo, The Travelin’ McCourys are a band built at the intersection of bluegrass tradition and improvisational freedom. The group has spent years developing a sound that borrows from rock dynamics and jazz instincts, and from the father of bluegrass, Bill Monroe.

The full lineup features Ronnie and Rob alongside Alan Bartram on bass, Cody Kilby on guitar and Christian Ward on fiddle. Every member of the band holds an International Bluegrass Music Association Award for their instrument, an accomplishment you can feel in the group’s chemistry from their first note. They’ve shared stages with Phish, The String Cheese Incident, Sierra Ferrell, Warren Haynes and Marty Stuart. Expect to hear tight harmonies, fearless solos and set lists that breathe; no two nights are the same.

Doors are at 5:00 p.m. with local favorites, The Moguls, opening at 5:30 p.m., followed by The Travelin’ McCourys at 7:00 p.m.

For Wildwood, July 26 is proof that world-class music has another home in the valley. This is only the beginning…
