The Wyoming Legislature’s budget session was slated to end this week but lawmakers find themselves at an impasse over several items. Politics reporter for the Casper Star-Tribune Nick Reynolds reports that they include funding for the University of Wyoming’s law school, health insurance for unfilled positions in the state’s education system, and K-12 funding.

When it comes to the legislation that has worked its way through the Capitol, Reynolds told us about the Legislature’s move to acquire millions of acres of land from Occidental Petroleum and a statewide lodging tax that lawmakers recently approved. He also discussed how a misogynistic culture in Cheyenne might just be shifting.
