We talked with Chris Kitchen from KGB Productions about a film they produced along with Powder Magazine and REI called “Monumental: Skiing Our National Parks”. The film celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service by reminding skiers where we came from, and the we belong to something greater than ourselves. It features local skiers Lynsey Dyer, Griffin Post, Max Hammer, and Connery Lundin with scenes filmed in Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Glacier, and Olympic National Parks. You can see it at the Pink Garter Theater on October 24th with showings at 5:30pm and 7pm including Q & A after both.
