Jackson Hole’s Vice Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson joined us before the Town Council Meeting on Monday, July 5th (at 6pm in the Council Chambers)for an update on government matters. The Council changed the ordinance for the Downtown Commercial District Development Regulations, a hot topic that will either create more workforce housing or favor economic growth. Also on the docket is whether the “Munger Mountain” school proposed for Hog Island will connect to the county sewer system and if a cell tower disguised as a Lutheran Church bell tower rising to 55ft. should be approved.

Funding for the 988 lifeline could be appropriated to the state budget for the 2026-2027 biennium during the upcoming legislative budget session in February.
