Three of the researchers involved with the Institute for Ethnomedicine here in Jackson Hole (Sandra Bannock, James Metcalf, and James Powell)visited KHOL! They collaborate with scientists around the world to find cures for neurodegenerative disease and recently made a huge discovery. There is a toxin called BMAA that is linked to Alzheimer’s and may be found right here in our backyard.
