Carl is an inquisitive chipmunk who has adventures based around the National Museum of Wildlife Art here in Jackson Hole. Lynn Estes Friess, the author of the series of children’s books based on Carl, stopped by the station to talk about where the idea came from, how she’s evolved as an author, and why she wanted to write books for kids.
