Film Critic Jeff Counts Puts Cinema into Context

Accredited film critic and general manager of the Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) Jeff Counts produces a weekly series for KHOL called “On Set,” in which he reviews and discusses new films for Jackson Hole Community Radio listeners. 

Counts, along with GTMF Music Director Donald Runnicles, also hosts a radio broadcast series that can be heard Sundays at 8 a.m. on KHOL called “Live from the Grand Teton Music Festival,” a show about GTMF concerts, the artists involved and anecdotes about the pieces and players themselves.

Counts joined us recently in the KHOL studio to discuss his passion for both music and film, the process behind his movie reviews and where he sees the film industry going next.
