Local musician Chris Archuletta grew up in Jackson Hole and has recently returned home to develop his new alternative rock project, Box Elder. After a three-year musical hiatus, Archuletta recently released his debut EP as Box Elder called “These Distractions Are Constant,” launching a new path in his musical journey. 

In advance of some upcoming gigs and work beginning on a full length LP in October, Chris Archuletta joined us in the KHOL studio to discuss the DIY scene in Salt Lake City, the concept behind his debut EP and the significance of mental health.
