Dark humor, philosophy, metaphor and wisdom all find a home in Abby Webster’s music. The Midwest transplant moved to Jackson two years ago, by way of San Francisco, where she taught herself to play guitar and ukulele. She discussed how dark times early in life, the streets of a vibrant city, and spiritual connections all play major roles in shaping the music she makes.
