Cassandra’s (Formerly the KHOL Community Affairs Director) new segment, Notes for the Apocalypse, will be aired on Sundays at 12:30pm. She’ll talk with guests from Jackson Hole and beyond about the lesser talked about topics in life: joy, despair, work, passion, relationships, death, love, and so forth. The first episode is a (somewhat nasally) conversation with her friend Anna. They both grew up in Jackson and moved back after college and living abroad. They delve into what it’s like to forge a life in a town with pre-established personal and family history, dating in a ski-town, what happens when being a “skier” or “mountain biker” isn’t your primary identifier, how to cultivate deep friendships, and how not to depress everyone when you feel overwhelmed by the world.
Despite spending uncertainty, Jackson Hole’s summer bookings are up
Anticipating a summer surge, Bridger-Teton is asking visitors to come more prepared.
